Knowledge Translation, Exchange and Mobilization (KTE)
KTE consists of methods to translate, share, and exchange academic research to increase its access and applicability to the public and the specific groups that should benefit from that research.1 The Benoit Lab prioritizes the creation of meaningful and culturally informed research, and we understand our responsibility to ensure our studies are as accessible as possible. Our infographics initiative aims to provide an easy-to-understand and visual description of our projects. As we continue with this initiative, we hope to increase the accessibility of our projects.

WHiSE 2.0
This collection of infographics and posters form part of the Walking for Harm Reduction Through Street Engagement (WHiSE 2.0) social media strategy. The engagement plan was designed to achieve three knowledge translation and exchange (KTE) objectives to: 1) support the referral and delivery of harm reduction services to Indigenous people in Thunder Bay, Sault Ste. Marie, and Sudbury; 2) foster relationships between Indigenous communities and harm reduction organizations; and 3) enhance KTE knowledge and strategies among various target audiences.
These deliverables were developed by Nana Koomson, Muna Aden, and Anita Benoit alongside a Linkage-to-Care Toolkit to support the referral and delivery of harm reduction services to Indigenous people in Thunder Bay, Sault Ste. Marie, and Sudbury. They also aimed to foster relationships between Indigenous communities and harm reduction organizations. The slideshows and posters were developed to enhance KTE knowledge and strategies and promote harm reduction strategies among various target audiences.
